Coexist- Not Conquer
There are always going to be people in your lives who will go out of their way to cram their oppinions down your throat. They will stand in front of you shaking with belligerant fury that you might have the audacity to have a differing oppinion. They will tell you at the top of their voices that you are wrong, bad, evil, or wretched. There is personally no room in my life for these kinds of people. In high school I would have called them bullies. Now that I am an adult- I only have pity for them. Pity because they are too afraid that what they believe in is wrong. Pity because anything that contradicts their precious views is a terrifying threat. Coexist people- not conquer. While conquer and assimilate remain the order of the day, there will never be peace. We live in a very diverse world. Get used to it.
